It is a bunch of chaps sat at a round table who decide these things?

with a bit of help from fleet car co's putting cars onto market 1, 2 and 3 year old, depreciation and lease price pay back.

these figures have then been tracked and compiled along with current auction rates to give Mr Parker a good indication for his book on whats a fair price based on condition and mileage and extras

another bone to pick with you matey.

I've been studying aircraft accidents lately and it seems to me that, far from being the sterling chaps as you would have us believe, from Heathrow to Tenerife when there's been a catastrophe, it's usually one of your lot acting like a complete cvnt.

There is always a chain of events which cause the final catastrophe. Sometimes, pilots' decisions form links in this chain.

On the other hand, thousands of accidents are averted every day by pilots making correct decisions.

Of course, at the moment there is an explosion in passenger numbers happening in the Far East with low cost carriers putting undertrained crews into the sharp end of aluminium tubes. Expect plenty more accidents in that area over the next few years.
