There is a wealth of goalkeeping statistics available. Go and look at them. Very revealing :-)

11/12 season we conceded 49! So nearly 50 goals conceded. Almunia years we were closer to 30... So please don't lie.

As i say, not the point.

I will give you a clue though. If you are judging goalkeepers purely by how many goals they conceded you are seriously missing the f**king point

08/09- 37
09/10- 41
10/11-43
11/12- 49
12/13- 37
13/14- 41

Not sure i see a clear pattern or significant rise there. A bad season in 11/12 but the last two seasons have been as good as any in the period.

And as i say, to blame a keeper for that and look at nothing else is pointless.

A whole season's worth of goals conceded. Yeah great.

You do recall what happened between 2010-12?

Yes? No?

The last two seasons have seen our defending improve, aside from those four thumpings last season. This year it has **** again thanks to the lack of defenders.
If you think you can prove that any of our keepers are good/bad/indifferent based solely on goals conceded then the conversation should end here. It is thoroughly moronic.

Look, just face facts Chesney has stepped in right when our goals conceded per season has taken a nose dive. End of.

You want to name defenders? f**king hell :hehe:
