The video shows numerous sickening acts which aren't allowed in Halal slaughter, and which are of a type that has also been found in non Halal slaughterhouses.

There's little real inspection of slaugterhouses and this stuff turns up all the time.

I buy organically raised meat most of the time, but that usually goes to the same slaugterhouses as everything else.

By and large, I'm a raving hypocrite. I could go vegan, but I can't be arsed. I'll support any political party that proposes to improve animal welfare, but I haven't really seen one with that on the agenda.

What I'm not doing is isolating one particular group of people and labelling them animal torturers when we're all guilty of the same sins.
