picture of the blue, cloud-flecked sky, then there was some clapping and cheering and a picture of the ball sitting in some grass.
It was the single most bizarre 45 seconds of television I have ever seen.
Do you watch it stoned?

They can have literally no idea whether he's done badly or not at that stage, so I can only conclude they're applauding him for not missing the stationary object. Odd.

Arguably the drunkest I have ever managed to get at a live sporting event of any type.
We pitched for the day beside a par 3 with the logic that we would see every player through the course of the day. Lo and behold by complete chance there was a beer tent about 50 yards away.
Far from dull.

I wanted him to oversee 19 straight away defeats and be utterly humiliated

shoot deer on a golf course than it would've been in the forest they razed in order to build the golf course.
So, well done golf, imo.

mainland Europe's wild mammal population? :-(
You've been away from action for too long. Can't you get a transfer to Afghan for a while and do some good, honest people killing? You know, get it out of your system.
Those poor little animals can't fight back, r. It's not fair :-(

"Of course, nobody's counting and he takes no pleasure in having topped all these people, etc, etc, but just for the record, our bloke killed more than that yank, right?"
