He looks to have a lost a yard of pace, too, which is more serious.
Personally I'd sell him to a club with money that need a striker. Liverpool would be a perfect candidate and he grew up as a Liverpool fan.
I'd even swap him for Schneiderlin if he'd go back to So'ton…

On form he can be unplayable – that performance against Barca stands out, but overall he lacks the skill to be a great winger and lacks the finishing to be a great striker…
He's half the player that Marc Overmars was, for example, who was equally quick – if not quicker, but had tremendous skill, awareness and vision.
