In Brazil the CBs generally defend the 18 yard line, Villareal also sit back a fair bit.

It's going to be a steep learning curve for him but he's rather quick so I imagine that will be a big help.

I seem to recall wenger admitting at the time that it was all the money he had available. In other words, i couldnt afford anyone better.

Cygan wasn't dreadful . He had the same weaknesses as Per but not the same considerable strengths and intelligence to compensate for them.

Despite the constant piss taking ofh im in certain parts of the media per is f**king brilliant in the air and seems to end up underneath every high ball into the box. That doesnt happen by accident.

He is also just a bloody hero in every sense. I love the big fella :-)
