Realise it's a Paul Thomas Anderson film, so it goes on for about 50 minutes too long and ends up boring the arse off you. What a waste!

Whatever happened to script editors, ffs?

the evening after. TBH it must've drifted as I normally manage to see things through, Nightcrawler I started watching to make sure it was decent quality & ended up unable to switch it off.

But I do agree some films are far too flabby & really do with a decent editor, either pre or post production.

this director I know says there's two no-nos in film. Dont kill a pet and don't kill a baby. If you have to kill one, choose the baby.
