It's been a tough last year. I've been busy making peace with everyone in my life. Including my cousin who twice wanted to go the extra yard to get me deported.

I've had two heart attacks in the last month. Both were mild, but there was no doubt that they were attacks.

I've already parted with my prized possessions and given them to people who will enjoy them as much as I have.

My mechanic (who is from London and supports The Arsenal) was blown away with all the Arsenal gear I had that I have collected since 1968, that I gave to him.

Going to miss watching The Arsenal. I hope that I can look down on them when I pass away.

That's the nicest thing you've ever posted about me. And I'm not being sarcastic with you.

I hope all is well with you and your family :-)

Heart disease has claimed everyone in my family from both sets of grandparents all the way down to a 47 year old cousin of mine who was found dead when his brother went over to watch the England v Uruguay match during this past World Cup.

I've always known that H.D. would get me if I was going to die a natural death.

I've accepted my fate and I'm trying to enjoy each day that I have left.

I hope that I can at least see the rest of the season, but I'm not banking on it.

Thanks again for your kind words. I wish you and your new wife all the best.

If he's a spud supporter, then I fear that I'll be well and truly f**ked.

Kind Regards to you, Sir!

The way that I look at it is, that it's all part of life. SFA I can do about it.

My dad went at the age of 59. He had a triple by-pass done by Bud Frasier in '89, who along with Denton Cooley, were two of the best heart surgeons on the planet. Between both my mum and dad they had 8 by-pass surgeries.

My dad was 56 when he had his triple done, and Frasier told the family that he wouldn't have any problems for at least 10 years.

He passed away 3 1/2 years later. I always had a funny feeling that I would go younger than that after he went, because of our different lifestyles. I just turned 57 in October, and it looks as if my premonition will come true.

Btw...was thinking of you the other night listening to my stereo. All that blues music you sent me years ago is on my Walkman under the playlist "Headgear". I was jamming to it all that night, big time.

I hope that all is well with you at your end, and that you're much happier these days.

All the best my friend

And, um, if you beat me up there, a bit of a good word in the right ear here and there wouldn't do me no harm. :nuffsaid:
