people simply waste time when they should be working to be productive to society. And of course many of these 'universities' are actually polytechnics, which 20 years ago were quite sensibly offering courses in electricity or pulling turds out of toilets, or whatever your sort do for a living.

about the kids who were Oxbridge standard. I was clever enough to get good exam results but lazy enough not to care about any subject unless I had a good teacher who would push me. My three elder sisters all went to comprehensive school in Herts because it was a Catholic one - so at least I escaped the nuns

As far as I am aware no pupils at our school were raped at any stage.

We did have one form teacher who was a brother and after football he advised that we allowed ourselves to drip dry as it was more hygienic. That was odd on reflection.
