every time.

I await all sorts of cries of "it's a microwave, you aren't meant to cook stuff in it!" etc etc but I'm chalking this down to something of a win.

Poached eggs on toast with less mess and quick enough to be convenient.

thing cooks through almost instantly and do it in 10-second increments to check the doneness. I reckon about 20-30 seconds is enough.

I'm sporadically okay with poached eggs at best, cannae seem to get rid of the moisture properly without breaking the *******.

This could be a game-changer j.

I've only recently discovered the poached egg and have become quite the zealot.

Nutritious and delicious* :eat:

*just as long as you add enough braaaaaahn sauce

I'll still probably stick with the water, white wine vinegar and the vortex whisk method.

Little bowls, pyrex or ramekins work best in my experience, stick a little bit of olive oil in to prevent stickage.

Then you just dump an egg in each, add enough water to ensure the egg is covered and you're away. 1:30 in a 750w microwave and you're good.

For optimum efficiency get your toast on first.

At first, I just tried nuking them without water and yes, you could have played ice hockey with the results.

The fried egg is a coarse and common beast next to its poached brethren, I fear.

Will it break? Will it stick? Will you get the pleasing little crust on it whilst still remanning crucially eggy? Will I die from eating what is essentially pure fat?

A fake poached egg, essentially.

I don't want crust on my egg.

The pods could do a job in the microwave, I reckon

The water simply does what it would if the eggs were submerged directly.

3 mins, while the toaster is doing it's job.

The combination is not something I have had before, simply that it was what was there. Ready Steady Cook, but breakfast style.

n break egg in middle then pull up corners to make little bag twist top n pop in the water

And yes, I'm aware I am advocating cooking my food using radiation
