has raised his contribution. But realistically, he will 35 in a few months. Having said that I won't be unhappy if he gets another year, it is just a suggestion to free up wages - FFP and all that.

He's not your classic 12 yard poacher in the mould of a pure striker.
To me, he's has far more industry and falls between the two positions.
Either way, we have far too many midfielders, certainly far more than Chelsea, who interestingly also only list three forwards in their first team squad.
