The kosher supermarket looks very strange.

Like a sex shop or a strip club with blacked out windows.

perpetuated by one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I have always secretly wanted to try it, though, with a silk sheet. The only impediment is that I don't own a silk sheet and, if I did, ironically, I'd be too tight to make a hole in it.

sport as they go about their daily lives.
I noticed a muslim chap being interviewed earlier. He stood there in a collection of dowdy old robes that most people would probably use to protect the carpets while emulsioning. He also appeared to have some sort of rice steamer on his head.

I mean.. This is 2015.. What planet are these people on.

What you think of the niqab, Jorge?

'talitot katan' out to dry. This poncho-like garment is about two feet by four feet, has a fringe on each corner, and a hole in the center for the wearer's head, and it looks somewhat like a small sheet with a hole.

Mind you, when you see the state of some frummers, a sheet would be a mercy to both parties, I'd have thought.

I'm a teeensy bit more culturally aware than to think it came from a show a little over a decade old though.

Shockingly amateur Judaism there, Monts, you'll be tipping people next.

I don't really have a problem with it, personally.

I think a hijab looks better, and is unsurprisingly more common. There are a lot of rather beautiful, glamorous ladies rocking some very, very fetching and ornate hi jabs in town at the moment.

I can safely say it was beyond the point of requiring any perpetuation. You couldn't move around my way without bumping into a frum, which made hanging around on weekends quite a lot less snooty/stabby than weekdays.

Well done the frummers.

thing, which apart from anything else, has the effect of making them look like a human being rather than a blob.

What strikes me though, is that if infidel like you are using words like 'beautiful, glamorous and fetching', are they being modest enough?

I'm having no more of their f**king nonsense, I'm afraid.

There's also a big fashion for wearing it a fair ways back so you can actually see their hair.

Crazy imo, it's like they're finding their own way in society whilst codifying what is acceptable contemporary behaviour on the fly.

Also, I meant it very much in the schmutter sense. Some of the fabrics are amazing

can properly f**king do one. Equally, on government property (schools, courts, council offices, etc) the authorities have the right to ban this get-up. And, of course, employers are quite justified in refusing to allow employees to dress in this way.
