Apparently Arsenal are about the only club who could afford to buy Cavani without being sanctioned by FFP.

He'd cost about 40-50m. No chance imho.

With Podolski gone it does look like a gap has opened for another forward to come in otherwise we are relying on unproven youngsters.

I said in the summer I would have loved for us to sign Oscar Cardozo from Benfica after it was rumoured he was on his way out. And he signed for Trabzonspor for 5million euros and is ripping it up out there.
