So really everyone should be happy with yesterday as it was a veritable Arsenal Greatest Hits.
Being completely unprepared at the start of the game, continually giving the ball away cheaply in midfield, looking tactically clueless, playing players out of position, it all good, like a medley of songs from Beggars Banquet to Exile on Main Street.
In fairness they tried some new stuff. Equalising straight away and taking the lead. Like playing a couple of songs from Voodoo Lounge.
But conceding a goal from a corner in injury time, scored by a player who was unmarked despite scoring 2 against us last season and us having an extra player. Well that was like finishing the encore with a 10 minute version of Satisfaction. You'd feel shortchanged if it didn't happen quite frankly.
