Rogen and Franco (and I assume the usual suspects of Goldberg and Apatow et al) are hardly your neocon, rightist elite types, are they?

If anything this shows the lack of trust that can be put in multinationals to uphold the freedoms of artistic expression imo.

Also, HB old bean

Don't think it has anything to do with not offending liberal sensibilities with what is clearly a spectacularly crass and ill-judged film whatsoever.

Much as I might like having a pop at lefties, I fear you're howling at the wrong moon here, chief.

the CIA did it / Cameron's a shape-shifting lizard / North Korea is the victim of Western propaganda.'

The nonsense doesn't wash with me. I dismiss it.

I like the whole Apatow gang, myself. I think they have the potential to become the new Harold Ramis/Dan Ackroyd/Bill Murray crew.

They really should've got the new Ghostbusters gig rather than that chick flick cund who did Monty's favourite mongcom Bridesmaids.

Bunch of c**ts. Seriously, they all must be pushing 40. At that age, the stoner, manchild stuff is just looking sad.

However, that's by the by. The point is that Chief seems to have the wrong end of something that, on closer examination, may not even be a stick.

There are however things like This is the End which are better glossed over in order to preserve the integrity of my argument.

It does not look too good, at any rate.

Perhaps somebody ought to investigate Michael Mann's links to North Korea? The whole thing could've been cooked up by his marketing people.

I thought the issue was that the movie was loosely based on an assassination attempt on their dear leader.

Which to be fair to the crazy chaps is fair enough, not forgetting of course it is simply a film.
