That said, having a nationalised bank could be a great idea. We could have real governmental levers on the economy, giving favourable business lending rates, using it to supply sympathetic mortgage rates to key infrastructure workers and protect businesses in key areas.

My point is, not only are we going to get royally f**ked on it we are actively not using it to do real good for society whilst we have the chance and helping to stimulate some sort of sustainable economy which isn't just based on a house price bubble in a small corner of the country.

This has been the worst UK recovery from any recession ever, I'm amazed we aren't doing more, and cleverer, to get out of this ****.
