Putin's f**ked. He's going to invade some poor Eastern European ****hole, and we're going to have to react.

Such a war would be awful for business.

It's a poor outlook.

no one will know.

Discretion is all in these matters, I feel.

always being a net importer of energy. Now it's not, it's a whole new world and you can hardly blame the yanks for sticking it to c**ts like Putin and Venezuela. Equally, LNG starting to really come online as a fuel supply means Europe won't be reliant on Russia much longer either.

This is all Putin's fault. He's been swinging his tiny dick around based on the idea that everyone needs Russian gas and oil. Now they don't he's **** out of options.

I suspect we might need some help from our mates across the pond.

It does seem like they're making an awful lot of this energy up out of thin air. Which is ironic when you consider just how massively environmentally ruinous shale fracking is compared to solar/wind/tide energy, which is actual think air stuff

As for wind and wave power - the levels of energy that can be generated - let alone networked - by them are piddlingly small and would be totally unsustainable but for all the government subsidies that support them.

That's a bonus then.
