Please help. Avatar upload. I chose upload avatar (not the URL option) and I browsed file and

chose the 100x100px image I'd saved on desktop (after half an hour looking, grabbing and exporting to jpegs and pngs via Gimp.)

I says 'avatar is xxx.png or jpeg" but when I go update or preview it goes that the url address doesn't contain an image.

I tried the URL option, not upload, and it says enter a url.

So why does the upload option, which says browse file, and lets me select my png/jpeg from my desktop, then say when I try to go to update or preview, "that file you uploaded isn't a url."

What am I doing wrong?

I wanted to have my first avatar cos Eastgermanautos has given me a great new name - GG AFC AFC - but I can't load up the temple carvings of my aboriginal cult getting all fertlityity.

Why? Right format? Check. No more than 100x100px? Check. Choosing upload not url? Check? But it still says the URL (which I haven't chosen, I chose upload and then browsed to get the file) doesn't contain a url.

Please help.

I keep it on upload avatar

I then click browse, and choose my pic.

Next to the browse box, it says GGpic.jpg

I go great.

But when I lick preview or update settings, I get a red error message

The specified url does not contain a valid image.

Even though I've chosen a file, not entered a url (and chosen upload file not url.)

Confused.

Might try a diff browser to make sure it's not an addon.

But if I've made a stupid error, please tell me.

But if I give a url of a pic of a temple carving for the image, does that have to be no more than 100x100px?

And why does it say choose upload or url, and why I leave it on upload, and click browse, and choose my file from my desktop, and it puts the file name and extension next to the box, why does it then say "No Pic in the URL" when I click preview or update?
