birthday etc was the "first without Mum". We sponsored the building of an owl aviary at a pet refuge (she was big into owls) and had it named after her. We had a big family do and remembrance there on the first anniversary of her death which helped a lot. Feel for you, especially with the festive season almost upon us and the focus on family.
