decision. He must be mighty chuffed.

*Maybe. And yes, it's Arsene's fault too for not having more defenders. Even if he got away with the same thing with the Invincibles.

Although the middle names Ramone Sewell suggest he is not one of the Co Meath O'Connors

We had six (seven if you count Walcott) first teamers missing against Stoke. Did not see it mentioned once anywhere...

such a perennial problem that it is barely even commented upon anymore.

Seven first teamers out and it is not mentioned in a single match report (that I've seen). That isn't right, whatever way you look at it.

Slap up meal. Few pints. Some spirits. Kebab. Taxi home. Be sick in the bathroom. Waken the wife?

Ultimately, we are one squad player away from being comfortably equipped defensively (and one better off than the current league leaders). That is hardly the most terrible indictment.

Pub for 5, meal for 6, red wine time, move across the road then, free bar until god knows, move to a different bar when the free bar ends, f**k knows then.

But other than that I make you correct.

City deserve a lot of credit for their result last night considering they were missing 4 very key players. They could do well this season in Europe depending of course on tomorrow's draw.

"Our main problems are still defensively because Laurent Koscielny (calf from Southampton match) looks like he will not be quite ready"

...but he was on the bench at Stoke!

I'm for Belfast tomorrow for mine. Leaving the office at 2 and eating at 5:30pm. Potential for disaster. Let's hope not.

Pretty much all the ones I've read refer to our depleted ranks so not really sure what his issue is. Probably not space to list all of the f**kers missing.

Not sure you can automatically class Wilshere and Walcott as first 11 unless of course your first 11 is in reality a pool of about 15 players.

I believe when the mixing happens the **** hits the fan, sometimes it can depend on the order of beverage consumption I find.

Few beers, some wine, no bother. Not 100% but one can function.

Beer, wine, beer. f**ked.

In short, yes. :-(

Literally hands and knees you understand as it is under the stairs.

I see myself as quite the sophisticate at the kitchen table, large tumbler with ice, The Jam blaring from behind me.

Always regret it next morning, always.
