Ridicules technique

Podolski's 1st was rather nice, he really is wasted at us

pace to play up front on his own.

And then he doesn't have enough pace or skill to play as one of our wide forwards.

as yes every now & again he turns in a display like last night but a lot of the time he is bloody lazy until he has a point to prove.
He was great at beginning of last season & then got injured. Hopefully he can now get some consistency going.

I'm negative in general but this is weird. Straight away it's going to be a 'swinger' or in other cases he 'shinned it'

Is it a Jewish thing?

If we had won the group we would have got the runners up from Barca/PSG's group FACT

Fantastic strike especially given his position and it being his weaker foot, but best ever?

You know yourself that even a bog standard centre-half is capable of such a goal from distance if he happens to catch it perfectly.

Luis Anaconda

In WM they played deeper and Alex James effectively changed the role by becoming a deep-lying playmaker and guitarist

Monaco would be lovely but we will get Real or Bayern

in the 1970s - possible 3-2-5 but definitely 5 up front. Not great when you are the goalkeeper tbf

As I said it was a great goal, I simply took issue with your referencing it as one of the best you had ever seen.

I know you have watched loads of football in your time so I simply find that impossible to believe.

Monty saying it was a 'swinger' is f**king ridiculous but then we know he just says most of his ****e to try and be different.

People go nuts for a thirty yard rocket volley, but in reality they're all a bit hit and hope.

Give Ramsey that same ball ten times and how often do you think he'd be able to repeat it?

Yes, he gets everything right, but at that distance and that power the margins for error are minute - it's well into the zone where luck plays a bigger part than technique.

PSRB
12-10-2014, 10:31 AM
Granted it's not DB10 vs Newcastle or Mark Hughes scissor volley for Wales but still a lot better than just running in and smashing a ball from 30 yards

But to dismiss it as a swinger is (imo) taking it a bit too far.

It was a very good goal, it was his intention for it to work the way it did but as you correctly point out another 99 attempts will see the ball go in different directions.

Liverpool home last season, Norwich away, Norwich home when you had the absolute pleasure of sitting beside me.

The latter would be my own favourite. Not every footballer would have the composure and skill to do that. Any footballer can hit a sweet strike from 30 yards.

One is that dog food used to be full of calcium but now doesn't need to be because... well, just because.

The other is simply that the turds used to be left to dry out for much longer as the streets weren't cleaned so regularly.

I wonder if their is a dog **** expert who has the definitive answer?
