last May are not agreed with by many but I do have respect for him as a man & manager of Arsenal.
The way some of our fans are behaving is despicable. Banners with Wenger out etc are disgraceful at anytime let alone after a win! Then we have grown men fighting over whether he should stay or go, add to this supporters screaming & swearing at him as he boards the train. This is not what Arsenal is about & I for one am utterly ashamed by our supporters.
Regardless of your view this is a human being we are talking about.

Our supporters have been utter scum through good times and it's hardly to be wondered at that they're even worse through what we currently perceive as bad times.

I mean have you seen the pathetic, entitled whinings of these autistic, emotionally retarded f**kpigs on so-called FanTV? The really scary thing is that they're just the relatively coherent and rational tip of the iceberg of **** that makes up much of our fanbase.

some fantastic times. I have been frustrated for a few years like many others about our seeming inability to compete meaningfully at the very top level but unless I could have several hours to have a proper conversation with him I would not offer an opinion. In any case, there is no reason to be rude and disrespectful. Apart from the awful 0-0 home to Blackburn a couple of seasons ago when I was in the block right behind the home bench and did offer a few suggestions from the anonymity of being in the crowd.

This is what 70 years of socialism has brought us. The uglification of everything.

Having had their heads filled with absurd ideas of equality, these days, sadly, everyone imagines that their views are valid when they are clearly not. And, what is worse, they all seem to think it is their right, nay duty, to express these worthless opinions in a loud and hectoring voice.

If respect was the issue, or the fact the he is a human being as Dorset pointed out, then we would all take issue with the verbal baiting of the opposition or that bizarre coincidence that resulted in a succession of Tottenham managers who all happened to have mothers that worked as ladies of the night.

Loyalty to one’s own, should Arsenal supporters barrack Wenger in such a public way.

as are the tory front and backbenches ? its totally irrelevant to any discussion about supporters acting like cnut to wenger..thats all, stop side tracking

I had a most extraordinary experience yesterday. In an effort to combat a truly vicious hangover, I ate a gigantic and - I'll be honest - obscene breakfast in a caff (Two large sausages, double bacon, double black pudding, two eggs, two hash browns, chips, beans, mushrooms, toast, juice, coffee). All was consumed, plate wiped with toast, etc.

All very well, but some while later, I then went on to suffer what I can only describe as a 'whitey'. :-( I looked this up and it seems I may have induced a fairly enormous insulin spike that caused these symptoms. This is a new one on me, I must say.

I then recovered by watching Godzilla and The Dallas Buyers Club under a duvet on the sofa.

You do realise that when you and Sir C talk about socialism like this you do start to sound, welll, a little american.

I accept that is not going to go down well in the berni camp. Just trying to help.

Berni

educationalists telling people to express themselves when they should in fact be telling them to shut up and go and work with their hands since they're not really suited to anything that involves thinking and nobody wants to hear what they think anyway.

That's what socialism has done. Given people the idea that they're important.

Sir Charlie of Nicholas
12-08-2014, 10:11 AM
It may have been the experience of mxing with the sort of chaps who populate these 'cafes' which upset your equilibrium.

Snin
12-08-2014, 10:12 AM
socialist states have never been too keen on the whole vote and freedom thig either..the russians and chins were pretty good at keeping there chaps to be respectful and quiet..until the bloody liberal democracies fecked them up.. so just backs up my comment that socialsim cant really take the blame for the whole respect thing. Better to blame Christian Democrats imo. Im a fan of dictatorships in general as the masses are bloody stupid

Berni

responsible with it.

Socialism basically created universal suffrage and since then has exploited it by keeping the lower orders onside by promising them free stuff stolen from their betters.

It is all becoming very unseemly but as always with football things can and will change quite quickly, a win next weekend against the team we are playing and this weekend’s demonstrations will be history as will the result.

Should add that I have no idea what specifically has happened this weekend.

We almost had our own storming of the winter palace, but ours was to have taken place at the O2. Happily, One Direction were playing and the DLR to north Greenwich was too rammed for the Red Guards to get on.
