Not quick or agile enough at full back , not experienced enough at centre half , money could have been spent elsewhere , other then Sanchez a truly dreadful transfer window

Welbeck has been alright too, in fairness.

16 mil for a young inexperienced defender without a position , 3 mil on an injured keeper , Welbeck was good business at the price but he is not a world beater , Sanchez was a bargain ,

He is an international with premier league experience. When we were signing kids people like you would moan that we needed more players between the ages of 26-32. Now when we do you moan they have no resale value.

It'll be the usual nonsense about the spee-rit being strong and having to work to get the results we deserve, but that the red card stopped any chance of winning.

We just lack shape and defensive intelligence. Get a strong DM in and things improve dramatically. This is the "final piece of the puzzle" thing.

Simply can't believe we just didn't pay what was needed to get one.
