Of the larger clubs, those were the two I most associated with violence at the time in the 70s. In Chelsea's case it resembled neo-Nazism too. Around ten years ago I occasionally convened in a pub in Chelsea to conduct some, ahem, business with a gentleman associated with that club who on displaying the inside of his lower lip would reveal a swastika.
