I'm very much enjoying watching her reply to people on Facebook via the medium of really tenuously chosen bible verses.

A decent example would be "My boiler has broken and I can't get someone in to fix it until january!"

reply: "Isaiah 49:10 "They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will lead them And will guide them to springs of water."

Especially as they're largely godless liberals she's proselytising to.

One of the strange things I've found as I've got older is just how religious people are. Normal, sane, rational people in some cases seem to have either found god or feel a lot more like talking about it at the very least.

Is this an age thing? Do people find or refind god as they get older? Is it a modern times thing or have I just erroneously assumed that people were largely secular?
