RvP was anonymous, Di Maria only impressed me once or twice all game, yet we again, manage to literally gift them a goal. Then, although we needed to get an equaliser, it was certain that we would lose the ball in attack and give them a whole half to run into unimpeded. It was like a template that could have been applied to any previous cfc or mufc game
For all the talk of us lacking a defensive midfielder, or decent defenders, that was purely down to tactical shortcomings. Look at utd's defence ffs. Ours was better equiped man for man but we still shot ourselves in the foot, twice.
