he is a stubborn old fool so i can't dee him leaving unless sacked.

His comments about our defence on Saturday were a joke.. if he wonders why we have gone gung ho and have only 1 player back, surely it is his job to tell them to stop that, G.Neville noticed it from about 65 minutes onwards so it wasn't as if it only just happened.

has he let me down.

He's a superb manager and should be afforded the time to turn things around. I have absolutely no doubt that he'll guide us into the top 4 again.

So it's purely supporting that Arsenal will finish in a place that will be financially beneficial to the club.

That's boring.

thinking we might win or get close to the PL, I certainly think last 16 of the CL is all we can get.

He is making simple mistakjes over and over again (defence last season , got away with it, and defence this season)

If he leaves it will give us a fresh outlook, and imo, it isn't healthy for a manager to have quite so much control over the club.

I no longer see top 4 as a good season

It's the point that we continue to fall short of putting together a significant challenge to the top two that let's him down.
At some point we have to narrow the gap and push on. Every season we capitulate in the big games, go out in the CL at more or less the same point every year and have won one pot in ten years..

league?

Do you think 'par' is beating the teams that spend more than us? Seems a bit unreasonable, to me.

and keep going well until Jan? They may just spend their spare cash and give us a big problem.

Rich

United's defence is probably on a par with us but otherwise they have much more strength and depth.

Chelsea and City can't be argued about, obviously.

revenue for the club while we're still servicing stadium debt? That in turn will mean that we are unable to attract the best players and the days of finishing top four will be a distant memory before long.

Is that what you want?

him. I'm talking about what our expectations should be.

Top 2/3 would be us exceeding expectations. 5th wold be slightly below expectations.

I'm not sure why football fans struggle to grasp this?

When we don't strengthen the areas needed and have to endure this **** football week in week out.

I'm going to go support someone else.

Suarez was more influential last season than Sanchez at this point as well.

Liverpool have been holed beneath the waterline by losing Hannibal Lecter and the injuries to Sturridge, Spurs continue to stand still,Everton have been faltering, therefore we should have been incredibly well placed to push on this season

The high point for me is teh remarkable job that Koeman's doing at Southampton. If that's an indication of his talent, we should sort out a pre contract for him now.

Rich
11-24-2014, 09:48 AM
Why not wait until the end of the season and see who we strengthen with in the summer?

Pat Vegas

But it was Ramsey saving our arse most of the time.

We have a few more attacking midfielders.

They have a much better goalkeeper.

Defence is probably a draw although they have slightly more depth.

Billy Goat Sverige

forget, or that's what we're told. And Sanchez is only second to Ronaldo and Messi for goals scored in 2014. I'm sure those two players could carry us like Suarez did Liverpool, as you claim.

Pat Vegas

Madness.

if so, wouldn't you expect any decent manager to achieve that as a minimum?? if yes, then you are happy to achieve the minimum expected every year

Rich
11-24-2014, 09:51 AM
City's and United's is far higher. United have Falcao on 325k a week, Rooney on 300k a week, RvP on 185k a week for starers.

You're referring to reports that we have a bigger wage bill than Chelsea. I strongly suspect that this isn't true at all.

he doesn't strengthen the area of the team that we need... do we give him another year, then another?

and we are still short of players in the area we were short before, so the money isn't the issue, we have money, just he hasn't spent it in the best way for the team.

football managers that understand the club's philosophy inside out?

Arsene knows exactly where the weaknesses are and I have no doubt he will always take an opportunity to strengthen them, where possible.

As Arsene says, there is no point him spending the club's money on players that don't improve what we've got.

nexct season (if we qualify) we are likely to be seeded 4th so I wouldn't expect us to even get through the group... so the money will drop and so will your expectations i would assume

we should never challenge any manager of any club in any sport, so lets pack in having opinions and just settle for what we have all the time.

Do you think there wasn't 1 defender or defensive minded midfield player out there who would have improved our team???? if yes, then i suggest you are talking *******s

Same as my boss. Whatever I am told to will be done.

Bit harsh. Since Man Utd knockout us out of the semi-final in 2009, we've faced Barcelona twice, Bayern twice and Milan. No shame in losing against clubs of this calibre.
