More and more you can see that this group of players are not jelling into a cohesive unit. It makes the acquisition plan look rather slap-dash, especially when you consider that we self-made a central defence crisis.
It's like Spurs, buying players with no real thought as to how they would play as a unit. When I think about Podolski still being on this team its borderline criminal. There was never any hope that he had the skill set to play Arsene's style and he could have quite easily been swapped for a decent center-half. So he's wasting away on the pine when he could be quite effective for another club AND we would have had cover at the back.
