View Full Version : Another thing: even the most vociferous of Wenger’s critics would not be able to say with any

conviction that another manager would do better .

How is this a credible position to take? How can you say with such certainty that he should leave if at the same time you cannot say with anything approaching equal certainty that another manager would do better? I don't understand...

either with or wothout Wenger, so to make stupid comments like he has proves nothing.

Can a Wenger fan say we will be worse off without him?

Chelsea. Swap the managers keep the same players and see what the result will be.

Wenger is a bit of a sad sack at times.

to suggest that a new manager wouldn't do so well.

The question really is, would you sacrficie the financial stability and relative long term success of the club for a punt at a new manager that could take us to new heights, or more likely could leave us in a worse place than we were before?

Not worth the gamble imho.

from the board etc. Other managers at other clubs do not have this security.

moment, I suspect he will lead us to yet another successful season.

More importantly, he is no gentleman and has no place at our club.

Is different to what the fans would like.

It's easy to say f**k them but football is a sport and we al like to see success. Not just the financial side.

Otherwise go and support other businesses. Come on you Barclays.

And still exert a degree of influence and control over the new manager.

Not sure how that would work with Klopp who'll problem knock him out :/

a new stadium to keep us near the top of the domestic team whilst still keeping us in the Champions League every year.

It's no shame to come second to clubs like City and Chelsea that are given millions and millions. The fact of the matter is that if they didn't have sugar daddies then we'd have won more pots of late.

But they are, and we are not. What can you do? Be the best of the rest.

We are now spending money. Yet other areas such as defence are ignored completely.

We can't always blame this on injuries.

It would also be nice that once in a while we might beat one of our top 4 competitors in a league match. but you go in to the match and you know the outcome. Because we never change our game plan. Yourself are one of the ones who know this more than others.

we will be worse off is a huge assumption to make.

I couldn't give a monkeys if he stays or goes now, I am just fed up that we seem to settle for 4 th place and think this is a good result rather than aim for better

about , you seem to think we will be worse off without him, when in reality there is every likelyhood it is 50/50 what the outcome would be with a new manager
