You are using our high point ie reaching the final and comparing it to the others record which is fine, but you can't then turn that round as a measure of consistency which is a bit silly really. Our high point is better than 40 (not 44 surely as on four occasions it has been beaten and four times equalled), but on a season on season basis we have probably not gone as far as Chelsea and Manchester United, possibly even Liverpool in the seasons they have qualified. In the years they have been in it Leeds and Tottenham have gone further than our mean position
