Also elected was the first Republican African-American woman to the House of Representatives, from the state of Utah.

Since you have shown a proclivity to opine on the ingrained racism inherent in America (especially in the South, etc.) you might want to use this information to update your opinions since they are 180 degrees opposite of your previous statements.
