Surely no f**ker / law abiding curmudgeon (yes) can argue that this is not a case iron case for free downloading from the internet.

Let's be honest, it might be absolute ****. See some of Gilmour's solo stuff. See also that abomination that The Who released after a similar artistic hiatus.

Not to mention your loyalty.

Literally the only argument against it I can think of is Johnny Cash.

If so, then I suspect that downloading it for free constitutes theft.

The quality of the product, as perceived by you, has absolutely no bearing on the question of whether you are stealing or not.

It's basic economics, free v not free.

Division Bell was **** enough, ISTR. Maybe I should have played it more than once, tbf.

When he says, 'It's basic economics, free v not free', you're going to smile and shake his hand?

He'll still be a thief.

Can you see that there are two different things there? You appear to have managed a whataboutery already!

Doesn't inspire mass consumer confidence.

I went back to the Division Bell recently as it goes, perhaps when I became aware of this new offering. I didn't get to the end, not even sure I got beyond 3-4 songs.

The one Gilmour did with The Orb I liked, but then I would be very into that type of thing.

justify stealing. I was examining how his position is logically untenable.

Although if you accept 'abuse' as a term, you could call yourself a 'drug abuse survivor'.

What if you wrote it but then he decided he didn't need to pay you? And then squirmed around looking for bizarre nonsensical reasons why he was justified in doing so?

You'd have some thoughts on the chap's moral fibre, wouldn't you?

I might go grouse shooting or possibly having a quick look at the neighbours car (and his wife, phwooooar) as he wants me to help him with his insurance. I was going to go round to see my mum but I can't be f**ked. I might just stay in and do some mucky sculptures.

Also, jesus f**king christ, dennis bergkamp, eh?

Does having an unholy hangover count as 'quiet contemplation'?

I'm round your way on Sunday. I'll pop in and we'll go to Mass together, shall we? Although I might forget where to stand, sit and kneel. It's been a while.

I was at Mass in France earlier this year and it worked even when I got a little bit lost in pure word terms. The rhythm was just the same.

Sammy Hagar is the singer now I believe instead of that simply ridiculous chap that used to jump (no pun intended) around a lot.

Mind you, I perish to think about the number of hot american chicks that chap rode.
