View Full Version : How many sick days do you average per annum?

Herr Floyd - PEGIDA

I usually take circa 20 days in one calender year to top up my holiday allowance which is reasonable I think. This year I have taken 37 days annual sick leave. That was one of the reasons I was sacked.

Indecent exposure in the workplace. That was one written warning then dismissed the 2nd time I did it. I had 3 verbal warnings over continual lateness and sickness. I was never actually sick though so Snin can f**k off imvho

Every unnecessary day you take off is a cost to the business that could have passed on to all employees in the form of pay.

Lad in our office, a Scotch. Every hour, without fail, 5-10 minutes.

Then you have me, non-smoker. Maybe a light pish in the morning and late afternoon.

Are we saying the Scotch is a thieving ******* as he is taking probably the equivalent of a working day over a week?

We run a very relaxed office here, nobody really gives a f**k about his smoke breaks as he gets his work done (generally) and keeps his head down.

I was just curious on your take on it.

I still on occasion buy the physical product, I still attend the live performance.

However quite often now I try before I buy, as would be the case with many commercial products. You wouldn't I assume buy a pair of jeans or shoes without trying them on.
