Though yesterday the chap behind me in the queue had pasta salad in his, with lettuce and mayonnaise.

I was tempted to have a word with him but then remembered where I was and who I was.

I'm also trying to consume less sugar.

quaffing San Pelly. We make do with the 2 litres for 50p jobs from the supermarket. Given Ms A's fondness for Spritzers this is no bad thing imo.

I find plain water a bit boring, so we have a few bottles in the fridge and add some cordial to it

Sounds like importing Taytos to Ireland.

Maz once made me a white wine, scotch and soda spritzer. It was perfectly drinkable.

No, a wine bar is a different animal. It's where gone-to-seed professional ladies get ****faced and embark on ill-advised and doomed relationships with men called things like 'Marco'.

I remember this one with Roger Rees and Suzie Blake was possibly on at least five times a week - just in between the 50 episodes of Duty Free

It depresses me that I know that. I quite liked her, though. She gave me childish stirrings. Him, not so much. He made me think of Paul Barron.
