There was a camp australian film called Strictly Ballroom once, it done nearly no business but had Toni Collette in it.

There was also a show called Come Dancing which ran from the dawn of time and was well past its shelf life. Also, it featured actual people who did it to a high level and not famous people, so nobody watched it.

Anyways, at the meeting where they were discussing relaunching it the fire alarm went off and they all went down the pub so they just called it whatever someone scribbled on a pad and a TV hit was born.
