Young kid with a sports car, driving with his girlfriend on dodgy Dominican roads... HIs name - Oscar Taveras

YOu just don't know how to feel, except profoundly sad that a talented and by all accounts great guy is dead. a real sucker punch.

that's three Cardinals who have died while on the team in the last 12 years.

about ready to be an auto pick for the starting line-up. Just needed a little more experience. Profoundly sad.

btw, Alex and Taveras look nothing alike.

Ran into a tree with his girlfriend in the car. BOth dead. Third death for theCardinals in the last 12 years. One guy was a single car DUI .. the other rather bixarrely died in his sleep in aChiacago hotel before a game. NO toxins in his body. He was 31.

I was thinking, Hells Bells He Ain't Pulling Through! thanks for that.

I have a lot riding emotionally on The Oxman. His directness is exactly what we need at times. Plus he covers mega ground and never seems tired. He avoids the yellow card in his challenges as well.
