Simply that on top of footballing brilliance and squad completeness, which we had in 2003/4 and to be fair which Chelsea appear to have this season so far, to go through the season unbeaten requires a huge slice of luck not to mention other issues which the football team itself has little or no influence on such as refereeing. Our unbeaten run for example was nearly blown asunder by a very bad referee decision at OT.

I also think there are more very good teams in the League now than then, more teams in the next level down who are more than capable of a win on a given day. Back then we more or less knew we were going to win (or not lose) every match with the exception of a small few where we thought it was perhaps possible.
