We'd have dropped more points.

Or maybe he is the one causing the imbalance but I don't think so.

He's got everything; skills, wheels, engine. A hard-charging warrior, goalscoring superstar millionaire straniero who gets everyone out of their seat whenever he has the ball and can create magic at any moment. A one-man tikki-takka machine and our most dangerous player, wherever he happens to be on the pitch. Sometimes you have to say The hell with results; fellows like him are what football is all about and if our other players can keep up with him we'll have a very good team indeed.

In a word, Wenger out.

Your advices were very much appreciated on my recent sojourn, a. We saw some amazing places and I learnt to enjoy walking up hills very much, in no small part thanks to some of your excellent tips. Thank you very much indeed.

If by miracle we can get the team 80% uninjured it could be rather interesting.

I am looking forward to seeing Alexis and Welbz playing with Walcott. in the showers.

and actually I think we miss Giroud.

The best walk was from Three Shires Stone to the summit of Pike of Blisco, helped by the weather being absolutely magnificent.

I was glad I took the Jeep, though. I might have been a bit twitchy about having to pull into the hedgerows to let other cars by in the Aston...

many years a director of AFC and, briefly, Chairman. Between Barrow and Ambleside. All wood panelling and open fires and cosy lounges. Lovely. Also boasting a Michelin-starred restaurant.

They have 'lodge rooms' in the grounds, but they're modern buildings and no where near as nice.

One morning we got up before dawn and walked up the fell just behind the hotel; after a couple of miles we came upon a craggy little valley of unimaginable beauty, complete with waterfall. A little spot without a name, no footpaths, just a secret corner of breathtaking loveliness. There must be millions of them all tucked away waiting for me to stumbleupon them.

We're going back in February

I ate like a pig for 8 days and put on 1.6 kg. The walking seems to have dealt with it.

I assume your overtrousers were properly tailored and made from only the finest cloth?

Sir Charlie of Nicholas
10-20-2014, 01:09 PM
I bought the overtrousers by mail order before we went. A pair for me and a pair for V. Unfortunately I didn't particularly check what I was buying, so it turns out that we have Berghaus overtrousers which exactly match the Berghaus anoraks we bought years ago, so when all dressed up for the mountain we look like a pair of c**ts dressed in matching Berghaus onesies :-(

And putties. I shall get some putties.
