Anybody ever worked for Argos? I am curious how their backstage works. All those items must be a pain to organise yet reach the collection point rather quickly.

2nd question why is collection point b before collection point a?
B, A, C what is the purpose of this?

On balance, I reckon the latter.

by any particular department. You'd just walk around all day looking busy, carrying the odd case and having loads of breaks.

Had a walkie talkie and everything.

I either don't have any change because I just got off the plane and only have high denominations, or my bag is so light that i can easily do it myself and don't want to have to pay somewon to do it

In Mexico they blocked the exit from the airport, I told them repeatedly that I literally had no cash on me, they carried it to the coach despite me pleading with them not to, then called me a rude englishman for not giving them any money (i offered him a chewing gum)

themselves up was by shouting 'c**t!' as loudly and mournfully as they could so that it echoed off the warehouse walls.

That wasn't such a good job. Although I did meet a black chap called 'Socrates'. I said 'After the footballer?' and he said 'Huh?'. So I said, dubiously 'The philosopher, then?' and he said 'Are you taking the f**king piss?'.

We didn't talk much after that. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif

We went to Mexico around 96 or so and I had a similar experience though I was all for it, let the wee dago carry my bag, I was after all on holiday.

Turns out the coach was about 20 yards away, I could have spat and volleyed my chewing gum further. I then proceeded to unroll my stash of money and casually handed the man the smallest I could find which I think was 20 US Dollars.

Probably paid the wee ****ehawk about 6 month salary for 5 seconds work.

I was quite drunk in my defence.

any favours.

They look like bigger c**ts than expected.

Bit like that traffic warden show that used to be on and there was that chap who had the horn for trying to break the record of tickets.

I've always considered sitting to be the optimum work position

you have to be a bit of a c**t to want to do it in the first place.

anyone who ever asked why they had a telly they'd say to check the signal for the bedrooms.

The poor fox has been hounded from Wardour Street to St Giles High Street and now all the way up here.

Oddly enough one of the first London landmarks we made it our business to find in 1987 was Wardour Street.

Off we went from Gypsy Hill with a bag of cans like modern day Christopher Columbii.

Perhaps not. Some B-sides are proper B-sides.

Family trip to London when i took the opportunity to go to Carnaby Street for bowling shoes and other items of high fashion.

When we first moved over our trips 'up west' were evening sojourns as we were basically not welcome in the place we were staying in, so we had to make ourselves scarce. Spent a few bit of time in Soho.
