View Full Version : Why do I hate Jose Mourinho so much? I've been trying to work it out and I can't really.

He's charismatic, amusing, successful etc. On balance, there is very little not to like.

But when I see him I can feel my blood pressure rise. I really don't know why

The fact that the likes of him and Owen Jones are employable is disturbing enough; Mourinho's success in terms of trophies and financial rewards is an insult to anyone with an ounce of morality.

I would be very interested to see how he did at a smaller club, his 18 months at Leiria looked promising but I'm not sure how long it would have lasted.

the latter obviously not a small club but when taken in context of just how **** Italian teams have been in recent years, still not really a flat-track

****, I'm sticking up for Mourino - I must now go and stab myself in the legs with a fork

All the personality and behavioural traits in the man that you hate so much and which make you want to strike him are the same personality traits that you would love and which would make you chuckle if he were manager of Arsenal.

Inter, well that was also a masterclass in just what can be achieved with organisation and gamesmanship. He also had Eto'o, Lucio, Samuel, Maicon, Sneijder, Stankovic, Milito etc etc so he was hardly an underdog.

use this sense with Jose?

Luis Anaconda

but compared to the Bayerns and the Barcas they certainly were underdogs

You shouldn't mistake confidence for being disrespectful or arrogant,

The guy is a winner and lives and breeds it every day...and he has every right to be...just look at his track record....

given what an absolute shower they have been since.
They beat Barcelona (at their peak) over two legs and Bayern in the final, although they were aided by that volcano.

As you may imagine, I try to avoid seeing him as much as possible.

Berni

bother with it, would they?

discard any attempt at living a decent life. Why, one might as well become a socialist or a thief.

I'm still dealing with Hendon telling someone he's the sort of 'fcuktard who eats the **** straight from Wenger's asshole'. :-(

I'd be interested in the thoughts of HHDL, but otherwise I think I've got it pretty much covered.

As you know, I live very much like Gandhi, without the sandals.

Surely every club in a competition bar 1 is an underdog.

If you work on the simplistic basis of one club being favourite, than by definition all others who come up against them are underdogs.

Doesn't fit in with the conventional FA Cup third round definition but still exists.

Arsenal are a big club, top club or whatever. We get drawn against Bayern in the last 16 and we become underdogs.

I mean, of course on a sematic level we would be but I wouldn't have thought anyone would've actually had the gall to say it.

Luis Anaconda

I would say that coming from that relatively weak league they weren't considered merely slightly worse. The Barca team that beat was declared one of the greatest ever - they were certainly big underdogs in that

Moreso before that, basically Calciopoli had a bit of an effect after that, understandably.

I mean, it'd be nice of you to back it up a bit, you know, with some facts and logic.

If it's just another of your primal kvetches then, you know, cool.
