pair of them flying around pretty low since Monday. Too much cloud cover to see them unfortunately. These were UK based but we get to see quite a few fighters of various guises over from mainland Europe too using the bombing ranges in The Wash.

When seeking accomodation it was always a toss up beween a pub in Holbeach which was quite startlingly dirty, or one in Spalding where the locals scrapped with monotonous regularity.

On the up side, I won several times at Fenland.

Blimey, I've just remembered, sometimes we used to stay at the Queensgate Hotel in Peterborough where my chum became intimate with the manageress, so that on the Saturday night she closed the bar to the public and prepared lines of certain substances for us.
