It'll be no Morse, obviously, but I bet it will feel like a pair of comfortable pyjamas.

Like Downton Abbey, only less edgy, I'd imagine.

When's the new series? Surely they won't let that nice Mr Thursday die, will they? :-(

in the ITV Sunday night cardy and slippers slot. Oh, when he's not doing his Extreme Fisting show, of course.

Robson went on to an apparently successful career in TV, while Jerome disappeared, only to surface as Bron in Game of Thrones, the international blockbuster.

I just think Robson must be somewhat bemused to suddenly find himself eclipsed in this way by his old oppo, that's all.

Oh, and Robson did a programme called 'Extreme Fishing', which it amuses me to call 'Extreme Fisting'.

Does that cover everything?

Ah ****, I forgot he's dead

Do I need to remind your lady to bring her camera on Saturday or has she remembered do you think?

I know nothing of either of these chaps.

Which one was Bron? They all sort of morph into one.

And Robson Green is the fellow in that thing of yours. The older one.

'Am I supposed to take my camera?' she said. 'I'm sure we had a conversation about it', she said. 'I have no idea', I said. 'Did we have this conversation when we were pissed?' I said.

That's how it went, just like that.

I shall mention that you mentioned.

She said she wouldn't mind doing a couple of snaps for us.

Can she do the whole, 'Bride's family please!' thing? 'Right, now all the chaps are going to jump up and punch the air!'

Just her mum's going to be there, in fact.

All in all, my extended family is living up to the stereotype and no mistake. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif
