where he's playing. His game is receiving it and playing the killer pass, not trying to take on people and doing defensive work.

He shouldn't be getting pushed off the ball as easy but he mostly sees the ball out wide, and all he can do with it there is pass it inside or try take someone on. That's not him.

Forget making great passes or scoring goals for the moment. He needs to start competing. The weak nature of his play is letting his teammates down. The rest is secondary.
