Why didn't anyone mention this?

We're going to get so gubbed :-(

Definitely.

That was just the start of his treachery.

Berni
10-03-2014, 01:26 PM
But equally, watching him enjoy tearing us apart might make you hate him, which would really help you, I think.

*Obviously it won't.

Then he thought "wouldn't it be even funnier if I joined Chelsea" so he did, and he laughed some more.

Carlotta doesn't even follow me on Twitter any more.

Don't worry, Flamini will maim him and he'll see the scar every day when he looks in the mirror.

your pathetically defeatist attitude and cowardice in the face of the enemy is.
So if it offends you I am happy to retract the 'big gayer' and issue a full and forthright apology.
I will however have to transfer you out of the group of charmingly erudite and humorous contributors that frequent this board and lump you in with the gutless lickspittle group populated by the likes of Rich and Monty.

The teams are very evenly matched apart from them having 3-4 better players in key positions and having started the season in better form. Apart from these issues I would be supremely confident. Away win.

Going to watch us get ours arses handed to us seems positively perverse.

Steve Williams - gay for Mark Knopfler
10-03-2014, 02:20 PM
In terms of simple analysis I will admit it doesn't look good.

I think they have a better keeper, possibly the best in the league. Their defence is every bit as good as ours, their prospective midfield duo without doubt (imo) the very best in the league and then their attacking options are the equal of any in the league. They also have a very good manager.

But football works in odd ways at times. I shall cling to this hope and then turn over when it all goes tits up.

After last year, I'm not sure I even want to be on the earth when what is clearly going to happen on Sunday actually happens. And I'm sure having my digestive system torn from its moorings as you toss your machine about would be preferable.

I've suspected for a lomg time that there's a part of me which enjoys disappointment - indeed craves it. The affirmation that my negative core belief system demands from time to time. I usually get my fill at Old Trafford each season but I'v got used to that now. Seeing us lose up there is like catching up with an old friend and realising we're both still alive and doing ok. But this Chelsea pain is a different animal..It's only the serenity prayer that got me through to half time last season.

f**k it. I'm already upset about the result and it's only Friday.
