part of the stadium en masse with about 3 stewards to control them. The flares all went off & were chucked on the pitch more or less at once...just glad none of our players were in that corner at the time :morebloodyinjuries:

It would take pat-downs on all fans, and even that mightn't stop people bringing stuff in up their exhaust pipes.

Personally I don't understand why our club allows the opposition to bring drums in. It kills what home support there is, which was actually quite good last night once our players had shut their fans up. At least the Gala fans didn't bring a drum. Not a loud one anyway.

We should appeal it and ask them how the fvck you are supposed to stop people coming in with flares which are easy to conceal unless you search everyone. :****er:

Or at least search enough to make getting rid of them seem like a good idea before you go through the turnstile. And you get the information you can, possibly spotters, from the opposition team/authorities.

And you make sure you do it when you play a team that has a history of this sort of ****.
