One knows better, of course, than to order poached eggs from room service; by the time they reach the room they are invariably somewhat aged and overcooked. :-(

who wants to eat food in the same place as one sleeps? Then you have the problem of disposing of the dirty plate afterwards, which is invariably left on the floor outside. Yuk

I'm all for it, personally

The Napoli fans had the right idea.

I can thoroughly recommend room service in the Mandarin Oriental in Miami or Loewes Coronado Bay in San Diego

It seems to be overlooked that he's like a libidinous Tory version of Ed Miliband too.

Room service is delivered to one's sitting room, naturally. When finished, one calls the floor butler to remove the trolley.

Apart from that I'm sick of Wilshere's face.

I once ordered eggs benedict and was served a split hollandaise . I felt quite faint.

On mine the Hollandaise had been replaced with a chipotle sauce. Is that hip or what? :cloud9:

I have to go to Begium TWICE next month. My poor father will be turning in his grave.

I rarely ask a hotel to re-decorate unless I am staying for more than 2 nights.

But he liked to have his little Dutch jokes at the expense of the southern cousins. He liked to banter them off with ****housing.

He wasn't keen on Germans, though. Not keen at all.

Does that mean he used to get drunk and piss against the Antwerp Cathedral, like most the Dutch visitors seem to do?

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

As for outside urination, he would have been appalled at the idea.

I don't know what 'bantering with ****housing' means. I'm trying to be trendy and relevant :-(

Do Hollanders really piss up against Antwerp cathedral? Have you considered writing a letter to Mark de Rutte?

I had to Google this Rutte chap. He's no Ruud Lubbers.

I heard him being interviewed on Radio 4. 'Mr Prime Minster..' said Jon Humphreys. 'Pleash', he interrupted. 'Call me Mark, we Dutch are not so formal.'
