A few very short, gentle walks I can recommend:

Around lake Buttermere - a small lake.

Castle Crag in Borrowdale - the smallest of the Wainwright peaks in a stunning valley, and with a war memorial on it. It was once an ancient fort, I believe.

One we did the other week: Rannerdale Knotts via Rannerdale valley, by Crummock Water, near Buttermere village. Up a gentle little valley then onto the back of the fell for a stroll over green carpet to the top for views over Buttermere towards Haystacks and Great Gable.
