A question I really want an answer to: Has anyone ever made a printable PDF-file of a thread?

I'm sure it has its uses, but I don't really understand what it is.

it is for someone who want to feel good about himself by keeping records of his own ego boosting statement or want to prove others wrong.

Something like " see on this thread, dated so & so I had already tell you ..." sort of things.

very important work they do everyday, keeping things ticking over.

Nobody knows precisely what this work actually is, of course, but I think we can all agree that it is very important indeed.
