Why do people at work pretend to have watched certain games over the weekend?

Saturday' sorry it will come before 5pm'
This morning 'it will come today'

I've called apple yesterday morning and made a big complaint to say you should have picked another courier as this ridiculous. I am worming my way for some free iTunes vouchers or whatever.

But not impressed at all.
