Why do people find it so odd that there are so few media outlets supporting Scottish Independence?

They seem to see this as an indication of some sort of conspiracy as opposed to a reflection of the fact that Scottish Independence is, by any serious measure, a really terrible idea for Scotland.

It was a bizarre and incoherent rant against...well, everyone, really, including the hand that feeds him. Interestingly, in this screed decrying the media's views, he didn't once deal with any of the issues raised, simply dismissed them as part of the corporate media's agenda. Equally, when he supported scotch independence, he did so entirely defined by the terms of an English lefty who wants to stick two fingers up to 'The establishment' (whatever the f**k that is). The man's pathetic.
